A really simple curry made with potato, tomato, mushroom and stuff like that.
Yummy served with rice and grated carrot.
Tastes nicer than it looks, I promise! :)

We're big on homegrown stuff...
Just some of last year's produce.
I've got my seeds ready to plant in March... Radish, courgette, aubergine, pepper, spring onion, chilli pepper, basil, pumpkin, peas, spinach... It's going to be great!
Great Winter Meals #2
Soup with cheese on toast is one of the yummiest things to have in Autumn and Winter. No matter what vegetables you've got hanging around, you can make a delicious soup in half an hour. Cheese on toast compliments it perfectly - Cheddar is great, but if you're feeling fancy try something like Wensleydale. Mmmmm.
I think that's a carrot soup in the picture.

Mixed Vegetable Pasta
Heat a little olive oil and a little butter in a wok, then take the above ingredients (or similar) and chuck them in.
Add herbs such as basil and season with black pepper.
Meanwhile, cook some dried pasta (or make your own from scratch if you've got the time!) in a pan.
Mix the veg with the pasta, and add a sprinkling of grated parmesan. Great served with fresh watercress and garlic bread.
